Thistle Dhu – luxury Highland cottage - accommodation

A warm welcome awaits you in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. Our cottage was purpose built to provide our guests with every comfort they would need – but don’t just take our word for it, please read our guest reviews too.
Thistle Dhu has been designed to also accommodate those with limited mobility. There is a paved ramp to the back door and extra wide doors through the downstairs with an accessible bedroom and bathroom. Heating and electricity is included and there is a starter pack for the wood burning stove.Downstairs: There is a large screen smart tv , DVD and video player.

The adjacent dining area seats up to eight people in comfort. Table linen and ample ranges of cutlery, crockery and glasses are provided.

A luxury cream “shaker” fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, gas/electric double oven cooker, microwave, dishwasher and a larder will provide all the space you need to prepare meals. Equipment is provided for everything from a simple breakfast to a full dinner party.

Across the hallway is a large utility room with washing machine, boiler, drying facilities. There are also clothing rails and hangers.

The downstairs front bedroom has twin beds and an adjacent spacious accessible bathroom with large walk in shower.The hallway leads though to the backdoor area with an adjoining downstairs cloakroom.

The house caters for those with limited mobility. There is a paved ramp to the back door and extra wide doors through the downstairs.

Fully carpeted and heated via radiators

There are three spacious bedrooms with top quality beds, superior linen and quality furnishings. The bedrooms all have substantial built-in wardrobes and cupboards. Hairdryers are in all bedrooms. Each bedroom has beautiful views towards the Cairngorm Mountains.

The family bathroom on the first floor has a large bath with shower over.
